Many of you know how much my Niece Evie loves her Uncle Sef... It's a little concerning sometimes. We were afraid she was going to find a way to sneak home in our luggage.

Baby Nono has a different favorite. His name is Uncle Bwandon! As hard as I tried, I was just not as fun.


The whole time we visited Nolan wanted to play with Uncle Brandon. Anytime Brandon was upstairs, "Uncle Bwandon go bye bye".

What am I? Chopped liver?

And who can blame him. If my uncle bounced me around like that he would be my favorite too :)
I can't blame Nolan though, Brandon is pretty hard not to love.

I better start bringing out the big guns... I think Brandon might be winning over Evie too!

The Abominable

During Christmas break I was sitting down with my niece Evie reading little short books based on parts of the Rudolph the red nosed reindeer movie.

When we got to the part about the "Abominable", Evie insisted that mommy was the wretched "Abominable".

She is such a stink. I reminded her that although mommy makes her go on time out sometimes, she isn't the "Abominable". If anything, our dog Honey most closely resembles (and) acts like the Abominable.

Happy Birthday Uncle Skeeter!

This weekend we were happy to make a quick trip down to Fredericksburg to celebrate Brandon's Uncle Skeeter's and Cousin Nathan's Birthdays. We don't get to see the Cash clan too often, so it was fun to get to get together and celebrate over some good food and delicious cakes courtesy of "Old Spinster Aunt Carol".

She made her delicious brown sugar pound cake and a red velvet cake. I had to put my new year's weight loss resolutions aside for a day to sample some of the delicious cake!


Buckey/John (Skeeter's son), like's to give José a tough time. Unfortunately José is as equally hard headed and decided it would be a good idea to rough house. They were giving each other wedgies and José's belt broke! I think José was more sad about his belt breaking than the fact that we saw him get a wedgie.

 It was a quick trip, but we had a blast and wonderful time seeing all the family!

New Years Resolutions!

So... I've been a horrible blogger. I work in marketing and am all on the up and up for my clients, but have been slacking on maintaining my own site and blog. In 2013, that is all going to change. So expect new tidbits and some "Mega" excitement. Seth's Mega 2013 New Year's Resolution List* 1) Exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet 2) Be better at calling / emailing friends regularly 3) Blog and update my own website on a regular basis 4) Manage my time better / stop procrastinating 5) Make more time for "fun" and be better at balancing work and home life. 6) Under-promise and Over-deliver instead of getting into my habit of people pleasing. *Subject to change. We'll have to check in next year and see how I've done. Cheers to a promising 2013!

1-2-3-4 I Declare a Blog War

So I have finally decided to jump on the bandwagon started by my sister and start a blog. Above is a picture of myself in with valentines stickers posted all over myself. My nephew thought it would be funny, and well... it kind of was.  Good thing I shave my arms or sticker removal could have been a little painful.  

FYI, megaseth is a nickname that has been so graciously dubbed to me by my co-workers. It should go without any explanation.
